Online Application
All applications for generator and energy storage interconnections to utility distribution facilities sized 5 MW and smaller are required to follow the NYS Standardized Interconnection Requirements (SIR) document. The latest version can be found on the NYS Department of Public Service website: NYS PSC Distributed Generation Information.
Be sure to include all the necessary information with your application for fastest review and processing. We have listed the general requirements. For more detail, you can visit the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) website dedicated to distributed generation projects: access to the PSC website.
Once you have submitted your application, you can view your status online via a secure Login ID.
An applicant proposing a hybrid project or stand-alone ESS shall complete Appendix K and upload via B or C as applicable.
