NYSEG to Permanently Close Liberty Walk-in Office

Office will close effective April 18, 2022

LIBERTY, NY — April 6, 2022 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) announced today it will permanently close its Liberty walk-in office located at 26 Wierk Ave., Liberty, NY, 12754, effective April 18, 2022. The office has been closed since February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, customers could drop off payments outside the building, but over time, more and more customers have chosen to pay their bill online, over the phone or at another location.

Customers who prefer to pay in person can visit approved pay agents conveniently located near the Liberty office. A full list is included below. Payments can be made without a fee at these approved pay agents. Otherwise, customers are encouraged to pay using one of the following options:
