NYSEG Hosting Two Pop-Up Customer Service Events
NYSEG representatives will meet customers on-site in Rock Hill and Mahopac to answer questions and provide assistance
Part of the Company’s continued commitment to improving customer service
BINGHAMTON, NY — May 11, 2023 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) is hosting two pop-up customer service events this week in Mahopac and Rock Hill. NYSEG’s sister company, Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E), had great success with a similar pop-up event in Rochester last month.
The program is designed to meet customers where they are to answer questions and provide assistance. The NYSEG team is looking to connect with customers in additional ways as we work to enhance services.
“We’ve seen the success of these events in Rochester and we’re looking to bring the same support to our NYSEG customers,” said Tom Garrity, NYSEG’s eastern regional manager of Government and Community Relations. “This in-person event is designed to keep customers updated on our operations, programs and services and answer questions in a community friendly setting.”
The schedule of events, with more to come, is below:
May 18 | Emerald Green Community Center, 139 Old Sackett Rd, Rock Hill | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. |
May 19 | Carmel Town Hall, 60 McAlpin Ave, Mahopac | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. |
NYSEG plans to hold events across the region throughout the spring and summer in partnership with local government and community organizations. This series is part of the improvements to customer service and billing the Company is making, along with hiring efforts.
